About Me

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I left the bagels and the bay for a degree in Film and Digital Media at Loyola University Chicago. Through my time here I have pursued my passions in film and television through contributing in student short films, becoming technical producer for Loyola's student-run sports broadcasting show Rambler Sports Locker, and running "The Sinead Show" on 88.7 WLUW where I curate a show each week discussing the impacts of music on film, television, politics, and culture.

Like Sinead O'Connor, my name is pronounced like Shin-aid. My father is from Dublin (thanks for the dual citizenship Dad!) and my mom is from Queens. A true Irish-american from New York.

If I'm not hustling at my restaurant job, or pursuing my career, I often find myself reading existentialist novels on the beach, or a Cosmo magazine before bed. I strictly use my bedazzled wire headphones and love Ariana Grande. My brain is essentially a pop culture catalogue and I classify myself as a grade A reality television watcher. Growing up, my mother was a costumer designer and a seamstress so when I was 13, my mom sent me to fashion camp in Manhattan for a summer. Now, I never leave the house without wearing a Sinead-special made accessory.

I plan to pursue a career in live television. Through my extensive work in all areas of broadcasting, I find myself dreaming Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, Dateline NBC, and everything in between!
